Thanks to a 13-2 run to finish the first half and an 11-4 run to end the game, the UNLV women's basketball team survived a bizarre second half and moved into a tie for first place in the Mountain West with its fifth straight win, 73-67 at Utah State on Wednesday night at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
