William S. Boyd, Executive Chairman of Boyd Gaming Corporation, will discuss the past, present and future of the gaming industry as part of the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering Dean’s Conversation Series with Pioneers.

Boyd co-founded Boyd Gaming Corporation in 1974 with his father, Sam Boyd. Since 1975 he has developed and operated Boyd Gaming properties in major markets throughout the United States, including locations in Nevada, Mississippi, New Jersey, Illinois, Indiana and Louisiana.
The event will be moderated by best-selling local author Jack Sheehan.
The event is held in conjunction with the William S. Boyd School of Law and the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration.
Free parking for the public will be offered in the Cottage Grove parking structure in first floor metered spots with black bags marked “Reserved”
